METABUILDING – Metaclustering For Cross-Sectoral And Cross-Border Innovation Ecosystem Building For The European Construction, Additive Manufacturing And Nature-Based Solutions Industrial Sectors’ SMEs

Objective: METABUILDING is a three-year Innovation project to support SMEs, bringing innovation to the “traditional” value chain of the Construction sector and expand it to other industries to create an enlarged Built Environment industrial sector enabling these SMEs to internationalise their activities and reach European markets.
A Digital Platform, open to all stakeholders of the enlarged Built Environment sector, helping SMEs to find partners for collaborative projects, innovative technologies, and information about available funding for SME innovation, will be developed. This digital platform will be closely linked to the European Construction Technology Platform (ECTP) and is supposed to become an important tool for SME innovation and collaboration for the related industrial sectors in Europe.
Moreover, 4M € will be available to finance 140 SMEs, boosting collaborative innovation projects belonging to one of the following industrial sectors, searching for synergies: Construction Additive Manufacturing, Nature Based Solutions, Circularity & Recycling Industries, Digital Industrial Sectors in 6 target countries: Austria, Italy, France, Hungary, Portugal and Spain.
