Laboratory for Circular Economy in European Defence Industry- LabCEED

Objective: Its mission is to revolutionize logistics and equipment maintenance in the defense sector by implementing the principles of a circular economy and innovative technologies.
Key Project Objectives:
- Quality Assurance: Developing a mobile laboratory for rapid quality control of 3D-printed (AM) spare parts directly in field conditions.
- Circular Economy: Creating tools to swiftly identify and select Critical Raw Materials (CRMs) from end-of-life military equipment to support their recycling.
- Increasing Self-Sufficiency: Verifying the quality of spare parts sourced from decommissioned or damaged equipment to ensure their safe reuse.
