DESARROLLO DE MATERIALES Y PROTOCOLO DE CARACTERIZACIÓN INTEGRAL PARA FABRICACIÓN ADITIVA

DEVELOPMENT OF MATERIALS AND INTEGRAL CHARACTERIZATION PROTOCOL FOR ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING

Program: Asturias Program 2018-2020

Objective: The project has two main objectives; on the one hand, the development of a protocol for the complete characterization of the additive manufacturing process, oriented to the behavior of the material and covering the entire production chain (from the raw material to the final part). As a second objective, the development of new materials for additive manufacturing (PBF-LB) for components that work at high temperatures and / or belonging to the nuclear sector. To achieve these objectives, it is necessary to develop innovative characterization techniques for raw materials and printed material. Likewise, it is necessary to implement methods that allow the incorporation of different particles that act on the printed material, so as to obtain a nanostructured product with improved behavior at high temperatures.
