RESISTANT - Large Riblet Surface with Super Hardnesss, Mechanical and Temperature Resistance by Nano Functionalization
Programme: H2020 – European Commision (agreement nº 760941)
Objective: The H2020 ReSiSTant project seeks to optimize two industrial pilot lines using micro and nano-structured surfaces to reduce resistance to advancement. These developments will be implemented on the surface of the “riblets” of certain target parts in each of the two demonstrators: 1) Turbofan aircraft engines and 2) Industrial compressors. One of the main economic and environmental benefits of this technology is the improvement of the efficiency of the systems as well as the reduction of CO2 and noise emissions.
IDONIAL participates in the implementation of Industry 4.0 technologies (sensor, artificial vision, etc.) in the pilot lines of the demonstrators to achieve the environmental objectives set for energy efficiency, in addition to optimizing their implementation.
